Yes, I made that word up, but it seems to capture the essence of what makes Scott Mutter’s photomontages so compelling. Mind you, his is classic photomontage, the combination of two or more film negatives exposed on paper to create surreal, or as he calls it, “surrational”, expressions of the world we live in.
